Goshen Township Fire & EMS. Goshen Township is located in Clermont County Ohio just east of Cincinnati.  Goshen Township is 36 Square Miles, made up of commercial, cluster housing and rural areas, with an approximate population of 19,000.

The Fire Department started out as a bucket brigade in 1933. Last lasted until 1948, when the department recieved it's first engine. The EMS department was formed in 1970.

 In 2007 we responded to 569 fire details and about 1900 EMS details. We provide 24/7 Fire and Paramedic coverage. Staffing consists of 4 full time personnel and 3 part-time staff to make a total of 7 on shift at any given time.

The hiring process consists of a written test, modified combat challenge, interview with other staff, and interview with Chief Murphy, polygraph, psychiatric evaluation and drug screening.
