New Clermont Shuttle Service Can Save You Money
The Clermont County Transportation Connection announces plans to introduce a shuttle that will service Goshen Township.
The bus will run between Goshen Township, Miami Township, and Milford with about 60 stops inbetween. The price for a one way fare comes in at just $1.50 for adults, $1 for students, and $.75 for seniors, people with disabilities, and small children.
CTC Director Ben Capelle said, " With gas prices wxpected to stay high for the year, this will be a great way for people to save money and relax while reading the paper or a book before they get to work.
The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments will pat hald of the estimated $193,000 in operating costs for the first two years of the shuttle.
Operation is expected to begin later this year. The shuttle will run from 6:30 inthe morning until 6 in the evening. Stops will include Wood Street in Goshen, the Park 50 Technecenter in Miami Township, Main Street in Milford, and Showcase Cinemas in the River's Edge Shopping Center. The shuttle will also connect with Metro busses that transport to downtown Cincinnati.
