Horse Thief Detectives are on a roll, By Golly!

The Goshen Horse Thief Detectives are getting down to business, and having fun doing it! Recently the group met at the recently re-opened "By-Golly's" Restaurant in Milford for an organizational meeting.

The group's leaders met to discuss the summer uniform, and adopt a new patch that will become part of the uniform just in time for the Frontier Days parade in June. They also talked about new restrictions and training for horses involved in the group's 'Mounted Division.' The Horse Thief Detectives hope to have 15 horses in the parade. The Mounted Division is hoping a training course will better prepare those horses for the flashing lights and noises that are often associated with being a part of a parade.

By-Golly's Restaurant is getting in on the fun as well. They have proudly hung the banner of the Horse Thief Detectives above a booth. The restaurant just recently reopened after an electrical fire shut it down on Thanksgiving Day 2007. The restaurant's manager says By Golly's goal is to be a family friendly place, where everyone feels welcome, including the Horse Thief Detectives!
