History of the Police Department
The Goshen Township Police Department was formed by resolution of the Goshen Township Trustees on November 3, 1971.

Currently, the department roster consists of 12 sworn, full time officers, one sworn part-time officer, and one non-sworn police records clerk. The agency fleet consists of seven marked road patrol units, three unmarked cars, and one van which is used for crime scene processing purposes.
