  Computer Recycling Drive a Success!

Goshen Township paired with Clermont 20/20 to help area residents clean up their desks responsibly.

On May 9th the community was invited to donate old, outdated, or inoperable computer parts for recycling. The computer parts and components that are still operable will be wiped clean and then donated to nonprofit organizations and churches. The rest of the parts will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

This year 2 monitors, 2 computers, 1 printer, 1 laptop, and a bag of miscellaneous parts were collected. Clermont 20/20 representative Becky Ploucha says she is encouraged by the turnout, considering this is the first year Goshen Township has held this kind of recycling drive. Ploucha says she expects next year to bring even more donations.
