Goshen Township Fire/EMS Department  

Shirl Reising is a Lieutenant with e EMS program. She graduated from Indian Hill High School and attended the Miami Valley Paramedic Program. She enjoys painting, traveling, craft shows and gardening. Shirl has been married for 32 years and has 3 children.

 

 

 

Darell Roberts serves Goshen Township is a part time capacity, working also with the Loveland- Symmes and Milford Community Fire Departments. He enjoys camping and restoring antique tractors. Darell is married with one daughter and two grandchildren.

 

 

 

Robert Rose has worked with the Goshen Township FIRE/EMS department since 1972. He is a 3rd generation firefighter, and worked side by side with his father. His four brothers, brother in law, and several nephews are also firefighters. He is a 1984 graduate of Goshen High School and has taken several courses in fire safety, education, and prevention. He's also had instruction in auto extradition, and hazardous material situations. He's been married to wife Victoria for 21 years, and has 2 children.

 

 

Ron Schmidt works for Goshen Township part time, but he's a full time firefighter! He also works  at the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport as a firefighter, and has served his country in Iraq as a firefighter. He is a 1988 graduate of Colerain High School. He spent 11 years after high school as a diesel mechanic before making his career change. Ron has two sons and enjoys riding 4 wheelers.

 

 

Joseph Smith has been with Goshen Township since 2000. He is a 1965 graduate of Goshen High School, but is hometown is Fayetteville, Ohio. He is also a graduate of Chatfield College, and Butler Tech's medic class. He has been married for more than 35 years and has 5 children. He enjoys reading and fishing. 

Brad Taylor started in Goshen Township in 2007. He comes to us from the Wayne Township Fire Department. Brad is a 1996 graduate of Blanchester High School and received his paramedic training from the Bethesda North program. He is married with one son and enjoys fishing, hunting, and bowling.
