The Goshen Township Fire Department announces an "Open House."

The festivities will be held Saturday, October 3^, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

During that time the fire department and vehicles will be open for tours and exploring. The staff plans to have a "mock crash" scene with an extrication involving Air Care. They will also open up the "Fire Safety House" to teach children how to handle dangerous situations inside the home.

Kroger has donated hot dogs and buns for the event. They will be served to guests free of charge.

The Fire Department is located at 1849 State Route 28.
