Local Church Recognizes Goshen Police Detective Jeff Lacey
The Cozaddale Baptist Temple located on Eltzroth Road in Goshen, Ohio recently recognized long time public servant Jeff Lacey.
The event was part of the congregation's first annual "Community Day" on September 13, 2009. The event served as a way to thank all those serving in public office within the Township as well as all local business owners. Police Detective Jeff Lacey was recognized separately for his many years of public service.
Detective Lacey is a 1977 graduate of Goshen High School, and graduated from the Scarlet Oaks Police Academy in 1982. He began his career as a police officer with Goshen Township in May of 1983.
Lacey has received an award from the Clermont County Citizen's Law Enforcement Association for Traffic Enforcement Officer of the Year in 1988, and was honored by that organization again as "Officer of the Year" in 1997. Jeff served as the agency's first police K-9 handler from 1993 through 1996. He was promoted to the rank of Detective in 2002, in which capacity he currently serves the community. |
