Asst. Chief Loretta Burns

Loretta Burns serves as the Associate Chief of Goshen Township's EMS Department. She's been with the department for 35 years. In fact, she was one of the original members that helped to start Goshen's Life Squad (May, 1971.) Loretta's hometown is Newton, Ohio, but she's lived in Goshen since 1995.

Before joining the Goshen Fire & EMS Department, Loretta worked as a mail carrier, a medical assistant, and a school bus driver. She is a graduate of Anderson High School. Loretta continued her education through the Good Samaritan Hospital Paramedic Program in Dayton, and attending 1 year of a nursing program at Miami University.

She's been married to her husband Gerald for 43 years. They have two grown children. When Loretta is not at work she enjoys oil painting, scrap booking, and being on vacation!
