Detective Mark Penn

Mark began his career in public service as a Dispatcher for the New Richmond Police Department in 1978. He attended the Norwood Police Academy in 1981, and upon his graduation, became a police officer for the Village of New Richmond. In 1985, Mark worked as a Corrections Officer at the Clermont County Jail, and later worked as a road patrol deputy, DARE officer, and Detective at the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office. Mark was employed by the Goshen Township Police Department as a Detective in January of 2006. Mark has been the recipient of numerous awards for his work, including:

• 1990 Officer of the Year, Clermont County Bar Association
• 1993 DARE Officer of the Year
• 1998 Accomodation Award, FBI
• 1999 Accomodation Award, State of Ohio
• 1999 Criminal Investigator of the Year, Clermont County Bar Association
• 2003 Criminal Investigator of the Year, Clermont County Bar Association
