| Community Remembers Leader in School System
Community members gathered November 14th to remember an icon in the Goshen School system.
Kathryn Marr died in July, but her legacy will live on inside the school for generations to come.
Marr started as a student in the Goshen school system, and later came back to teach. She went on to become principal and have a primary school named after her.
In her final act of duty to Goshen, she bequeathed 80 acres adjacent to the school property, presumably to be given to the Goshen Park Board to be used for outside activity development.
Friends and those who knew Marr shared pictures and stories of how she touched their lives.
Marr was 90 years old.
