Memorial Day 2009

  Goshen Township will host their annual Memorial Day Parade again this year. The parade will line up at 9 am at Marr/Cook Elementary School. The parade starts at 10 am, and will follow Goshen Road to Linton Road and conclude at Goshen Cemetery. Jim Poe will be this year's featured speaker. Vietnam Veteran and Goshen Resident David Conley will be the Grand Marshal of the parade this year. Parade coordinator Jim Allen is inviting students to decorate their bicycles and ride in the parade. Winners will be chosen from the K-3 age group and well as grades 4-8. Anyone interested in being in the parade or helping with the activities should call Jim Allen at 625-2524.
