| Reds fan wins red truck!
The Reds weren't the only ones with luck on their side at their September 21st match up against Milwaukee!
Goshen resident Susan O'Cull started the games as a hopeful fan, but drove away the winner of a brand new $32,000 dollar Toyota Tundra.
O'Cull was one of 10 finalists chosen from a pool of 10,000 entries to win the truck. In pre-game activities the ten were called down to the field and each one chose a key at random from out of a bucket. But you know how this story goes, only one key would work in the truck.
"You could hear the guys before me when they tried to start the truck," O' Cull said, " you could hear the click-click-click of the truck not starting."
Two finalists failed to start the truck before it was O'Cull's turn.
"I picked the key out and got in the truck and I didn't hear the click-click-click … I looked at the Toyota rep that was in the passenger seat and asked him did I just start the truck?"
The Toyota rep confirmed it and O'Cull threw her hands, still clutching the winning key, into the air!
O' Cull says her 14 year old daughter convinced her to entry to contest over Labor Day weekend. But when asked if the truck would become her daughter's first vehicle in two years O'Cull said, "Absoutley Not! She'd never be able to afford the insurance!"
